The Story Continues - The Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe
Hopefully, we will have great cars like the Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe for many years to come.
While it was superseded by the 458 Italia in 2009, it still occupies a special place in the hearts of motorists,
even more so than the Ferrari 360.
Make no mistake, all are fantastic cars worth every pound, but it’s something about the cars made in that time
frame that really sets them apart. Every Ferrari has been special since the late 50s, but there are some "more
special" than others, and this model here is one of them.
With a hefty price while new, its resell value is still higher than most new normal vehicles. So let’s see what
makes the Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe worth so much. First of all, the way it looks.
Even one quick glance at its beautiful lines will leave you in a sweet daze. Besides making your jaw drop and eyes
pop out, its design is also very practical, having a low drag coefficient and providing more downforce than the
360. It also has some features that were first used in the 60s Ferraris, like the openings in the front bumper and
the mirror on the driver’s side.

Under its hood lies a V8 petrol engine displacing 4.8 litres, a unit based on a motor that was also fitted on a
Maserati model. The engine uses a new architecture, different from the traditional Dino design, managing to bring
together 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. 80 percent of torque comes ready to use from 3,500 rpm and peaks
at 5,250 rpm.
Full power is available at 8,500 rpm. As you probably guessed, this Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe comes equipped with the
F1 electrohydraulic 6 speed manual transmission that sends all the power pumped by the engine to the rear
wheels.
Simply put, 4 seconds are needed to reach 62 mph, and the speedometer goes up to 196 mph.
The car has been equipped with Brembo brakes, which are known for having an excellent lifespan and performances.
Coming to a halt in a short distance is also a sign that this is an excellent car.
When speaking about the interior, this has the quality Ferrari has accustomed its fans to. Good craftsmanship,
sporty aspect and feeling are guaranteed. Sure enough, it’s not a Roller interior but, then again, it’s not
supposed to be one. The one supreme purpose of this Ferrari F430 for
sale is speed and aggressiveness and this has been fulfilled wonderfully
